Tom Sakellaris, CA with over 13 years experience in public accounting joined Henderson Partners late in 2007 as a Senior Tax Manager.
Tom completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at York University in 1994 and completed his CA designation in 1997. Tom’s specialization is in Tax having completed all the In Depth Tax Courses run by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Advanced International Tax Course, Tax Planning for Real Estate Transactions and he attends the Canadian Tax Planning Conferences whenever feasible.
Tom has extensive experience working with both private and public companies including some large publicly traded companies. Tom consults to his clients on international real estate, disposition of taxable Canadian property to minimize tax consequences, tax planning ideas in the areas of compensation and shareholder planning, tax due diligence relating to proposed share acquisitions and implementing tax strategies to reduce the incident of capital tax.
Tom is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
In his spare time, Tom is a very involved participant in the various activities and demands of a young family.
