Josée O'Toole, CGA
Partner
Josée joined Henderson Partners, LLP in 1998 and accepted Partnership in September 1999 as Financial Partner. She manages the firm's non-assurance and accounting services.
She received the Certified General Accountant designation in 1988 and was presented the CGA Award of Excellence for academic achievements. She has over 24 years of experience in public accounting and remains current on the latest tax regulations and accounting modifications and requirements by annually attending CICA update courses. She completed the Canadian Securities Course with honours in 2000.
Along with traditioinal accounting functions, Josée focuses on giving business advisory services, taxation and related advice to consultants, owner-managers and their companies and non-profit organizations. Josée provides assistance and advice on accounting, cash management, corporate and personal tax preparation, and assists small businesses and individuals with their processes, controls, accounting systems and tax issues. By establishing an excellent rapport with her clients, Josée gains insight and consistently adds value. Her focus is to ensure that each client is provided with services in a timely and professional manner which does not merely mean responding to issues and opportunities but anticipating them.
Josée is bilingual and is able to fluently cmmunicate and offer all services in French.
Josée has in the past volunteered her services as Treasurer for Rotary Club of Oakville West and the Hamilton Chapter of CGA Ontario. She is currently a member of the Company of Women.
